Cheryl holds a BA in Arts Management (UMASS) has been listed with Florida Department of Cultural Affairs as a presenter, the Creativity Coaching Association, the Florida Arts in Education Association, and the National Independent Artists Association. She served on the City of Casselberry Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as the Arts liaison and currently serves on the Leesburg Center for the Arts board as the director of Artistic Community Building. Now and New

I am a huge proponent and teacher of living in the Now, however I am finding myself anxiously propelling myself into the future looking for the New.

For most artists and creatives, this past year has been financially awful! And if that is not bad enough, it looks like it will be awhile before it gets better. Yes, I know I should not allow myself to caught up in this negativity, but I truly think we all have to be realistic about the current situation before we can move through it. I regularly get advice from non-artists on how to survive these difficult times, and I will smile politely, while under my breath say what the hell are you talking about. Do they have any idea what this feels like?

I have a very realistic handle on the NOW , but I cannot seem to help anxiously waiting and anticipating the NEW.
